Job summary

El Super is hiring a Restaurant Clerk at Store #65 North Long Beach, CA, for youth ages 16-17. The starting rate is $16.90 per hour, serving as a key contact for customers and assisting with hot food prep while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally, and be available for nights and weekends. A Food Handler Card is required; El Super promotes equal employment opportunities.

The Opportunity

The Restaurant Clerk position is one of the key contact points for our customers service experience and will Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant.

Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
