Job summary

Warehouse BBQ LLC is seeking a friendly Front of House Team Member to greet guests, take orders, and drive a warm, welcoming dining experience at our Wake Forest location.

You’ll handle counter and phone orders, assist with payments, and help run food to tables while keeping the dining area clean and organized. This role offers growth into lead positions and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Friendly and comfortable talking with guests.
• Reliable: on time and ready to work.
• Able to stay calm, accurate, and upbeat during a rush.
• Takes ownership when something goes wrong and makes it right.
• Restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately at the counter and over the phone.
• Know the menu well enough to make recommendations and answer questions.
• Handle payments and check online orders.
• Pack and double-check to-go and catering orders so nothing is missing.
• Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and correctly.
• Check in on tables, refill drinks, and ensure guests have what they need.
• Clear and reset tables, keeping the dining room clean and welcoming.
• Keep the front counter, drink station, and dining area clean and stocked.
• Communicate with the kitchen to keep orders flowing during rushes.
• Help with opening and closing duties.

Front of House Team Member: Warehouse BBQ

At Warehouse BBQ, we treat every guest like family. That's not a slogan, it's how we run the front of the house. We serve real smoked BBQ, briskets trimmed by hand and pork pulled fresh, along with our own house-made sweet tea, lemonade, and Kool-Aid. We're looking for friendly, dependable people to be the face of it.

We're a family-owned BBQ company that started in New York, moved to North Carolina in 2021, and has grown from our Youngsville storefront to a new dine-in location in Wake Forest. We're growing, and we want people who want to grow with us.

What you'll do

Front counter & to-go

• Greet every guest warmly and take orders accurately at the counter and over the phone

Food running

• Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and correctly
• Check in on tables, refill drinks, and make sure guests have what they need

• Keep the front counter, drink station, and dining area clean and stocked
• Communicate with the kitchen to keep orders flowing during rushes
