Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q in North Carolina is hiring crew members to join our growing restaurant network. We seek motivated individuals who will lead by example and help us deliver friendly, fast service in a busy dining room.

As a crew member, you will greet customers, take orders, prepare beverages, and support front- and back-of-house tasks. The role offers a flexible schedule, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and handle payments.

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is a rapidly growing restaurant and franchise company with over 30 locations in North Carolina. Our crew members are trained across the board on all main functions related to restaurant general operations - from Front of the House (Cashiers and Food-runners) to Back of the House (Cooks - Food Prep and Cook Line)

Pay range $14/hr - $18/hr

Overtime Hours are available for Top Performers

*Pay will depend on availability to work, experience, and needs of the restaurant*

Crew Member Responsibilities

• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently
• Clean tables, sweep/mop the floors, and keep the dining room and restrooms clean and organized
• Stand/ be active for long periods of time
• Reach above head, turn, twist and reach repetitively
• Greet the customers, take their orders and handle payments
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Brew iced tea, fill beverage orders and keep the counter area clean and stocked
• Deliver food orders to the tables and bag up take-out orders according to company standards
• Refill beverages and ensure our guests have everything they need to enjoy their meal
• Most Importantly: A good attitude, an open mind, and a Customer First mentality
• must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• must be able to lift 50 pounds.
