Legends Global at the Del Mar Fairgrounds & Racetrack is seeking seasonal restaurant cashiers for the 2026 San Diego County Fair and Summer Live Meet Racing Season (June 10–Sept 7). Positions are part-time. Qualified applicants must be available Thursday through Sunday and comfortable handling money with accuracy.

Pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour. Applicants should be at least 18, possess basic computer skills, and be able to stand long periods during events. Background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with ability to count money accurately.
• Basic computer, POS, and cash handling knowledge.
• Ability to communicate in English with customers and staff.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate accounting of all cash and card sales at the cashier station.
• Organize cash slips, voids, comps and house charges for daily close.
• Verify menu pricing matches the POS system and follow voucher rules.
• Operate the POS system and assist customers in a friendly manner.
• Work at a licensed food/beverage area and adhere to regulations.

Qualified candidates must be available Thursday through Sunday.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**Include the following:* Maintains accurate accounting of all credit card sales on assigned location.* Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities including cash slips, voids, comps and house charges.* Verifies menu pricing matches POS system* Monitors the proper use of vouchers, coupons and promotions.* Maintains accurate credit card handling procedures at all times.* Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage area.* Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.**Supervisory Responsibilities** N/A**Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
