THE ROLE

A Restaurant Busser will be responsible for the maintenance, stocking, and cleanliness of the dining area, and other additional functions to increase efficiency and productivity for the restaurant crew.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  1. Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area during shift
  2. Follow House of Blues safety, health, and sanitation standards
  3. Assist other employees as needed
  4. Follow opening and closing procedures, checking out with manager on duty
  5. Adhere to all HOB policies and procedures
  6. Required to occasionally work special events scheduled within the venue
  7. Perform table maintenance duties according to HOB service standards
  8. Safely transport bus tubs to dish room
  9. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
  10. Keep all ice bins parred to fullest levels at all times
  11. Keep floor neat, clean, free of food, trash, and other obstacles throughout shift
  12. Keep all dust pans clean and free of stuck on debris/odor
  13. Ensure that trash goes to the proper receptacles, cans are free of odor and lined, operating the trash compactor per policy
  14. Clean and assist with maintaining bar area

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  1. Willing to commute to downtown area (discounted $7 parking available daily)
  2. Working environment is fast-paced, can be hot, and/or loud
  3. Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and/or working on your feet
  4. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
