Position: Restaurant Barback

1. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
2. Stock and rotate coolers and maintain liquor room.
3. Assist with bottle service and bussing.
4. Assist the bartenders during rushes by serving drinks.
5. Consistently collect, wash, sanitize and restock all glass and barware for repeated bartender use.
6. Efficiently and continuously re-stock bartender serving stations with liquor, ice, fruit, straws and napkins as necessary for bartender use.
7. Perform general duties such as taking out trash, stocking restrooms, and complying with special requests set forth by management.
8. Execute weekly inventory of alcohol at all stations, liquor cage, walk-in cooler and liquor room for Bar Manager to place reorders.
9. Receive and back-stock weekly alcohol and supply deliveries into assigned and allocated areas of the bar.
10. Manage closing duties, including cleaning entire bar area and back area as well as preparing the bar for the next day's shift.

Qualifications:

1. Previous barback experience preferred.
2. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
3. Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Compensation

Hourly pay (NY only): $10.65 per hour plus tips. If your wage + tips does not equal at least minimum wage, your hourly pay will be adjusted to minimum wage.
