Restaurant & Bakery Dishwasher Perkins Superior Day time

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This role involves providing friendly and efficient service to guests, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and restaurant areas, and ensuring all dishware and equipment are in excellent condition.

POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

  • Maintain dish room cleanliness
  • Report to work well-groomed, in proper uniform, practicing good hygiene
  • Arrange soiled dishes, silverware, and glassware into washers
  • Perform side work during downtime (e.g., rolling silverware, restocking, cleaning)
  • Assist crew members as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • Visual acuity at various distances and peripheral vision
  • Clear communication skills
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold
  • Reaching heights of 6 feet; working at depths of 2.5-3 feet
  • Mobility and flexibility in workspace
  • Ability to fit through 30-inch openings
  • Carry trays weighing about 30 pounds for up to 30 feet
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Directed and trained by the Kitchen Manager or Manager on duty.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

Basic skills like sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught in-house.
