Country Club Restaurant Assistant Manager

The historic Washington Golf Country Club, one of the Arlington area’s premier Private Clubs is currently seeking a talented Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized and able to manage day to day operations in a fast-paced setting.

Restaurant Assistant Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees day to day operations including casual and fine dining a la carte service
  • Actively manages the hiring, scheduling, and training of employees
  • Ability to inspire employees to provide exemplary service consistently and the ability to coach employees for improvement
  • Able to perform multiple tasks while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • Knowledge of member/guest relations and member loyalty practices
  • Assists with ordering food and beverage products while maintaining par levels and budgetary goals
  • Increasing member return rate by ensuring satisfaction and prompt problem resolution

Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of two years management experience preferred
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Availability to work some weekends and holidays
  • Outstanding leadership and communicative skills
  • High level of professionalism, customer service skills; demonstrable passion for service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter who works independently and ingroups
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Oral and written communication skills
  • PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Able to organize and prioritize work
