Job summary

White Lodging, a premier hospitality company, seeks a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to collaborate with the General Manager in guiding daily operations, training staff, and delivering an exceptional dining experience across its premium hotels.

You will lead and develop F&B teams, manage costs and scheduling, ensure adherence to brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. This role offers growth opportunities within a respected hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Passion for service and guest satisfaction.
• Experience training and developing F&B leaders.
• Deep knowledge of food & beverage operations and cost controls.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and accountability.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory controls, and equipment management.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience; familiarity with upscale hospitality brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations under the Restaurant General Manager to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Oversee training of all F&B personnel following White Lodging guidelines.
• Monitor morale, motivation, and communications across F&B staff.
• Manage costs for food, liquor, wine, and other beverages to stay within budget.
• Lead F&B service during peak times: cooking, serving, room service, and pos tasks per brand standards.
• Assist with weekly forecasts to inform staffing and scheduling.
• Perform other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience.
• Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines.
• Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all F&B personnel.
• Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget.
• Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.
