Responsibilities
- Ensure flawless execution of every detail, every shift, by every team member, to exceed Guest expectations at all times.
- Provide direction, coaching, training, and development for team members, including food quality, service standards, safety, sanitation, and adherence to company policies.
- Ensure all food, beverage, and service standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Partner with the GM to ensure the restaurant's financial performance.
- Maintain consistent execution of systems, standards, inventory, and cost controls.
- Collaborate with the GM to create and implement plans for improved financial performance.
- Utilize the catering team to inspire community involvement and build sales.
- Manage team and manager schedules to support positive performance, verifying appropriate staffing levels.
- Assist in the final selection of all team members, maintaining staffing standards.
- Verify daily administrative tasks are carried out according to policy and standards.
- Organize and plan work proactively, anticipating business needs.
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and ensure positive recovery.
- Ensure cleanliness of facilities and sufficient supplies.
- Follow safety procedures when operating equipment.
- Provide a safe, professional, harassment-free working environment.
- Handle multiple priorities, work under stress, and exercise good judgment.
Experience and Education
- High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
- Minimum of three years of management experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to attract, develop, and retain top team members.
- Exceptional guest service focus.
- Ability to meet financial goals, including sales growth, guest counts, staffing, and cost management.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform duties involving bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing for extended periods, and operating equipment.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a restaurant environment, lift at least 50 pounds, and perform physical activities like climbing and handling food items.
