Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an entry-level Kitchen Prep team member in Gillette, WY. The role supports meal preparation, food safety, and dining room cleanliness while maintaining high standards of quality and speed.

You will work with the kitchen team to ensure timely service, proper portioning, and adherence to recipes, safety, and sanitation procedures. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper portioning, food quality, and timely preparation.
• Stock, rotate, and store food using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, prep, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, OSHA, and health department standards.
• Clean kitchen equipment and work areas throughout each shift.
• Communicate equipment, safety, or service issues to management.
• Assist team members with food prep, dishwashing, and dining room cleanliness as needed.
