The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is hiring for an Urban Rest Stop Team Member in Ballard, Seattle. This role provides onsite support to patrons, focusing on cleaning, safety, and customer service in a hygiene center setting.

You will work Monday to Friday 6AM-3PM, earn $21.90 to $28.38 per hour, and report to the Urban Rest Stop Manager. The position requires basic English, one year of related experience, and the ability to work with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• One year relevant experience in cleaning and customer service.
• Ability to work with diverse communities respectfully.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clean, safe, welcoming Urban Rest Stop at all times.
• Schedule daily showers and laundry appointments.
• Monitor facility and patron behavior.
• Provide personal assistance to patrons when needed.
• Distribute personal care items as requested and when donations are available.
• Distribute and monitor shower towel use and return, per procedures.
• Enforce Rest Stop Rules and Security Procedures.
• Document incidents in Daily Log and report to URS Manager.
• Maintain patron database and facility records daily.
• Restock cleaning supplies and hygiene items; manage inventory.
• Wear PPE and follow PPE protocols.
