Rest Area Janitorial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Janitorial Maintenance Technician to perform general janitorial activities at Rest Areas in Broward County, FL. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms, floors, walls, vending machines, and other areas, scheduling assignments, preparing work areas, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and scheduling skills
• Proficiency with smartphones and computers (email, scheduling, work orders, PMs)
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred

Schedule and Compensation

Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, with ability to work nights and weekends as needed. Salary ranges from $15 to $17 per hour based on experience. Benefits include health & dental insurance, vision discounts, 401(k), paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, and more.
