Job summary

On Our Own Services in Cotulla, TX is seeking a site coordinator to coordinate, supervise and participate in janitorial and grounds maintenance at the LA SALLE COUNTY REST AREA. Responsibilities include coordinating with corporate on hiring decisions, reporting progress, and organizing safety meetings while ensuring site safety with SDS documentation.

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must own/purchase a smart phone and know how to operate it, including sending and receiving text messages and emails.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work performed to ensure contract specifications and standards are met.
• Plan and present employee work schedules to corporate office.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Perform or assist with maintenance duties as necessary.
• Investigate safety, service, or cleanliness complaints.
• Take corrective action and document occurrences.
• Report to corporate office.
• Coordinate hiring, promotion, or dismissal of employees with Quadrant Manager.
• Communicate with quadrant manager.
• Walk facility daily to ensure it is in working order.
• Use past inspection reports to plan work.
• Coordinate with safety to keep SDS books updated on site.
• Instruct staff on policies and equipment use.
• Organize and lead safety meetings with staff and report to Safety Manager.
• Issue supplies and equipment to workers.
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend actions such as promotions/transfers/dismissals.
