Job summary

BAC is seeking a part-time custodian to perform cleaning duties at a Department of Transportation Rest Area facility. You will follow contracted cleaning methods and maintain restrooms, offices, and common areas in a safe and efficient manner.

Minimum qualifications include the ability to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test, and authorization to work in the U.S. Prior custodial work is preferred but not required, with shifts 2nd and 3rd and a pay rate of $16.88 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial work according to contracted cleaning methods.
• Remove trash, dust, vacuum, mop, and restock supplies.
• Clean restrooms, offices, and common areas including disinfecting surfaces.
• Dispose hazardous waste materials properly.
• Pick up litter from exterior areas around the facility.
• Maintain supplies and equipment per established procedures.
• Perform other custodial tasks as requested by supervision.
