Job summary

Brevard Achievement Center in Bushnell, FL is seeking a part-time custodian to perform custodial duties at a Department of Transportation Rest Area facility. You will follow contracted cleaning methods, handle trash, restroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and supply stocking while maintaining safety practices.

Ideal candidates have good communication, ability to work in a team, and pass background and drug screening. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Background screening required for access to work areas
• Pre-employment drug test required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks per contracted cleaning methods
• Clean offices by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping; restrooms by mopping and disinfecting; and glass/partitions as needed
• Dispose hazardous waste material in accordance with safety rules
• Pick up litter from outdoor foyer and surrounding areas
• Maintain supplies and equipment per procedures
• Carry out additional duties as assigned
