Job summary

CSP, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a rest area cleaner/janitorial staff. This laid-back role offers both part-time and full-time options, with the freedom to work at your own pace while maintaining the Kentucky Rest Area.

You will perform cleaning of grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, and parking areas, handle sweeping, mopping, window washing, stocking supplies, and report safety issues. Shifts run 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, and applicants must be 18+ with background check.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety precautions.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and others in a professional manner.
• Ability to stand/walk on concrete and uneven surfaces for long periods.
• Two-handed work and ability to bend, kneel and crouch as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean rest area grounds, buildings, lobbies, restrooms, vending/parking areas and ramps.
• Sweep, mop floors, wash windows, clean glass doors, fixtures and mirrors.
• Stock toilet paper and soap; keep sidewalks and parking areas free of litter.
• Empty trash and maintain general tidiness across facilities.
