SMA Healthcare is seeking a dependable janitorial worker to perform routine cleaning and custodial tasks at facilities. The role involves sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, and maintaining common areas, with attention to safety and proper chemical handling.

The position requires physical stamina for 8–12 hour shifts, exposure to outside conditions, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Driving may be needed for vehicle usage or SMA business. Training and accommodations possible.

• Cleans stall walls, top of stalls, ceiling fixtures, vents and other surfaces as required.
• Picks up litter in flower beds, surrounding landscape, entrance and exit ramps and picnic areas.
• Cleans foyer area, wipes down water faucets, benches, bulletin boards and newspaper racks.
• Maintains awareness of proper safety procedures, guidelines and applies procedures in daily activities and tasks.
• Performs other work assigned.

NecessarySpecial Requirements:

Possession of a valid Floridadriver's license, proof of personal automobile insurance, and have acceptabledriving record if required to drive Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral vehicleand/or use personal vehicle for SMA business.

Physical:

Mobilityand ability to bend and reach during an 8-12 hour day.Abilityto lift up to and including 50 lbs. Must be able to lift, push,pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to providesupport over time without fatigue.Regularly works in outside conditions that include inclement weather,heat and humidity.Fine motor skills for legible and accuratecharting, daily correspondence and presentation, either manually or orally.Work endurance ability to work 8-12 hour shifts with a meal break, aspossible. Routine 8-12 hour shifts. Hours and days off may vary. Extrahours may be required. Work assignment locations may vary.
