GardaWorld is seeking a casual Security Officer – Response to join our Hartford, CT team. The role involves adapting to varied daily missions, from customer service to patrols and surveillance, with an emphasis on agility and precision.

Responsibilities include monitoring sites, performing patrols, managing access, and promptly responding to incidents while delivering excellent service and maintaining security standards. Previous security or law enforcement experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide High School Diploma or GED documentation
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Be responsive with strong problem solving skills
• Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Have a state license if required

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Site Location: Hartford CT
• SCHEDULE:
• 6AM-2PM Monday- Friday (40 Hours)
• Mon- Thurs 10AM-7PM & Fri 10AM-2PM
• Tue- Thur 06AM- 2PM & Sat- Sun 10PM-6AM
• Competitive hourly wage of $18.75 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
