Job summary

St. Michael-Albertville School District is seeking a paraprofessional/IA at the high school in Saint Michael, Minnesota. The position is part-time (0.3125 FTE), running 11:00am–1:30pm, Monday to Friday, starting immediately, with a contract of 183 days.

Starting pay is $18.58 per hour with no standard benefits, though Earned Safe and Sick Time applies by law; the district may combine with other positions to reach full benefits. Citizenship/residency required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and two years of post-secondary education or an approved assessment.
• Ability to work with staff to provide services to students in skill-deficient areas.

Responsibilities

• Support students in skill-deficient areas in collaboration with school staff.
• Provide paraprofessional/instructional support during the school day.
• Assist with classroom activities during the 11:00am–1:30pm schedule.

Requirements & Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post-secondary education or successful completion of a valid and reliable formal assessment as identified by the school district or State; ability to work with staff to provide services to students in skill deficient areas.
