Job summary

LSI currently seeks part‑time Respite Providers to provide respite care services in the Dubuque and surrounding area (Dubuque, Delaware, Clayton, Clinton, Jackson and/or Jones counties). Flexible hours! You set your own schedule working directly with families and can work from home after initial training.

If you are a great communicator and enjoy serving others, you may be a good fit. You will support families with respite care and may work evenings or weekends based on family needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
• Must have some basic computer knowledge/skills; access to the internet and a computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care to give a break to the parent or guardian of an individual with a disability.
• Work with families to schedule respite and maintain clear communication and safety.
• May work a few hours in the evening or on weekends based on family needs.
