The position requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or Science, NBRC RRT credential (Florida), BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and 3+ years of acute care experience. 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, staff employment, with vaccination compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or Science is required.
• Florida RRT license credentialed by NBRC is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications are required.
• 3+ years of respiratory care experience in an acute care facility is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical and program operations with the Director.
• Maximize clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction; optimize interdepartmental workflow.
• Assist in orientation, education, and competency evaluation of staff; support performance improvement.
• Schedule management and special projects; maintain ABG Lab per CAP/CLIA standards.
• Perform respiratory care procedures and diagnostics per physician directives and protocols.
