Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
• Current state license as a respiratory therapist.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in respiratory care settings.
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource person to the Respiratory Care staff.
• Supervises staff through effective human resource management.
• Acts as a resource to Medical Staff.
• Serves as the chart auditor for quality reviews in the department.
• Ensures safe administration of medications in Respiratory Care.
• Maintains Blood Gas Analyzers and related equipment.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care and adapts communication.
• Performs other duties as required.

Accredited Respiratory Care Program graduate

State license as Respiratory Therapist

BLS Certification
