The candidate will recruit and supervise faculty, oversee curriculum development, and mentor students while maintaining compliance with accrediting standards and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum of clinical experience as an RRT.
• Two years’ experience in a CoARC-accredited program as an educator or clinical preceptor.
• Must hold a valid state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• Must hold a RRT credential.

Responsibilities

• Set the example and be the role model for professionalism and conduct for program staff and students.
• Ensure academic quality of the instruction provided to the students.
• Participate in student, campus, and community activities as required.
• Actively participate in the local professional community to raise awareness of Concorde, enhance student opportunity, and build the professional network.
• Responsible for recruiting, training, orienting, and supervising faculty members for the department.
• Ensure faculty are providing active and engaging learning experiences to students within a respectful environment that is conducive to learning, and focused on student satisfaction and positive results.
