Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy and at least 5 years in healthcare, with 2 in respiratory therapy.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in respiratory therapy or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience, with or without direct reports.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required at hire.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner License (California) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Recommends developmental opportunities, mentors staff, and drives performance improvements.
• Supervises daily activities of the team, aligns standards, and resolves escalated issues.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise and coaches teams on evidence-based practices.
• Leads safety, compliance, and training to protect patients and staff.
• Manages department resources, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Guides care plans and discharge processes for rehabilitation teams.
