Job summary

Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx seeks an Associate Respiratory Therapist to join a teaching hospital renowned for its Centers of Excellence. You will be part of a team delivering respiratory therapy with a focus on patient-centered care and safety.

Under medical and technical direction, you will perform routine respiratory therapy procedures, support quality assurance, participate in in-service training, and contribute to research activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (NYS approved).
• Current NYS license to practice Respiratory Therapy.
• Current NBRC respiratory therapist registration.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality assurance issues and ensure adherence to care standards.
• Provide in-service training related to respiratory therapy services.
• May participate in research activities related to respiratory care.
• Participate in product evaluations as assigned.
• Provide clinical supervision in specialty care areas as assigned.
