Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System in Delaware is seeking an experienced educator to instruct and supervise students across didactic, lab, and clinical phases of the respiratory therapy program, preparing them for an Associate degree as assigned by the Program Coordinator.

The role involves didactic instruction, evaluation, and clinical demonstrations spanning neonatal to geriatric care, along with developing course outlines and maintaining records in compliance with accreditation and hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required for this instructor role.
• Minimum of four years full-time experience as an RRT.
• Current critical care and teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and supervises students in didactic, lab and clinical phases to prepare them for an Associate degree.
• Provides didactic instruction and evaluation for students.
• Delivers instruction in skills and knowledge for neonatal to geriatric patient care.
• Develops course outlines, objectives and evaluation tools aligned with accreditation and policy.
• Maintains student records and provides academic counseling as needed.
• Participates in advisory, admissions, faculty meetings and in-services.
