Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College invites applications for a Respiratory Therapy instructor to deliver quality instruction using current pedagogy and technology across delivery methods. You will develop and maintain curriculum, manage records, and actively engage students using Ivy Learn or Canvas.

The role supports retention efforts and institutional initiatives within a college-wide framework. The position requires an earned regionally accredited degree, RRT credential, Indiana RTP license, and four

Qualifications

Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
Credentials: regionally accredited degree, RRT and Indiana RTP license.
Four years direct experience in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned classes using pedagogy and technology aligned to course objectives and outcomes.
Develop and maintain curriculum and supporting course materials.
Maintain student records, attendance, grades and documentation.
Utilize LMS (Ivy Learn, Canvas) for teaching, assessment and communication.
Promote student success and engagement through retention initiatives and advising.
