The University of Southern Indiana seeks a full-time, 12-month Assistant Professor of Respiratory Therapy and Director of Clinical Education (DCE). The position is tenure track and begins as soon as possible after the candidate search.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, teaching BSRT programs, collaborating with clinical partners, engaging in scholarship, and contributing to service at university, state, and national levels.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Indiana license.
• Minimum 4 years of RRT experience with at least 2 years in clinical care.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a CoARC-accredited program or as a clinical instructor.

Responsabilités

• Develop curriculum and courses for entry-level and degree-advancement BSRT programs.
• Teach courses and supervise clinical education in partnership with clinical sites.
• Engage in scholarship and present findings through publications and presentations.
• Participate in university, professional, and community service activities.
