Baystate Health in Springfield MA is currently recruiting for licensed Respiratory Therapists for our inpatient services.

We are seeking candidates for full time, night positions (7p-7:30a), which will include a $5000 sign on bonus*

Respiratory Therapist responsibilities always encompass evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders that affect breathing.Clinical areas including Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal population, at fast-paced Level I trauma center.They perform diagnostic cardiopulmonary evaluations and respiratory therapy treatments designed to treat patients with deficiencies and dysfunctions of the cardiopulmonary system. Cardiopulmonary evaluation involves acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting data that is obtained from diagnostic tests and specimens.

Respiratory Therapists play a critical role in the patient’s care plan. Their responsibilities may include:

·Airway Management in Adult, Pedi and NICU population

·Ventilator Management in Adult, Pedi and NICU population

·Part of Neonatal Transport Team

·Work closely with patients during Trauma, Rapid Response Call or Code Blue situations

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy

Certified Respiratory Therapist in Massachusetts Required

Registered Respiratory Therapist, Preferred

CPR-American Heart Associate; Basic Life Support
