Job summary

Mountains Community Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care in an acute hospital setting. Requires graduation from AMA/JRC approved Respiratory Education program and current California Respiratory Care Board license. ACLS/CPR and NBRC registration preferred.

VA ventilator management and one year of acute care experience are expected. The role offers full-time employment in a hospital environment with standard shifts and the potential for professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA/JRC approved Respiratory Education program.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one-year acute care and ventilator experience.
• Current license from the State of California Respiratory Care Board.
• Preferred Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Current PALS certificate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an American Medical Association/Joint Review Committee on Respiratory Education approved

Institution.

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related

Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum one-year acute care and ventilator experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current license from the State of California Respiratory Care Board.

Preferred Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
