The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. Patient populations consist of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy with communication to the physician and health care team. Certified Respiratory Therapist Required - Or Registered Respiratory Therapist Required - And NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required - And Basic Life Support Required.
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Required.
1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Required.
