Job summary

Role Overview

An experienced Respiratory Therapist is sought for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. The role involves providing respiratory care in NICU and other units, with responsibilities including managing patient needs during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver respiratory therapy, adhere to protocols, and potentially float to different units and locations. The position requires maintaining certifications and providing references, including a supervisor or charge nurse.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum one year of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience, especially in NICU. Valid licensure, driver's license, and certifications such as BLS, RRT, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (8th Edition) are mandatory. Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Must live more than 50 miles from the facility, and current staff cannot apply. Pre-employment modules and health documents should be uploaded to expedite onboarding. The assignment includes a maximum of 10 days off, with specific scheduling requests to be coordinated upon arrival.

Shift Details

Night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week, approximately 12 weeks duration.
