Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide prescribed cardio-pulmonary care across all ages. You will administer therapies, document accurately, and adjust treatments to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires NBRC-registered RRT, Alabama license, and completion of BCLS/ACLS/PALS within six months. A related associate degree is preferred; prior critical care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC with active Alabama license.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, non-critical, critical and advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Administer broncho-pulmonary drugs, monitor effects, adjust therapy as needed.
• Document care per hospital policies; contribute to quality outcomes.
• Support age-specific patient populations from Neonate to Geriatric.
• Collaborate with team; identify therapy changes when appropriate.
