Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to perform all aspects of respiratory care under limited supervision for patients of all ages, maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication and customer service are required.

The role requires Florida licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, RRT, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. MMH offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities within UHS family.

Qualifications

• State of Florida Respiratory Therapist License required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required.

Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality and accuracy. Also assures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer Service Excellence skills.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
