The Grove of Elmhurst is actively seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our compassionate team. You will apply clinical principles to assess and manage cardiopulmonary conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited program.
Certification required: CRTT, CRT, RRT, or CCT.
BLS/ACLS certification and an Illinois Respiratory Therapist license.
Five years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist is preferable.

Responsibilities

Serve as the backbone of the Therapy Department, applying scientific and clinical principles to assess and manage acute or chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction.
Develop and monitor the respiratory care plan and evaluate patient data to guide therapy.
Initiate, conduct, and modify prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
Document care activities in the patient record and communicate with the health care team.
