As a Respiratory Therapist at Elevate Care, you'll assess, treat, and monitor patients, manage ventilators, educate families, collaborate with the care team, document progress, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Experience in respiratory care in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, including oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.
• Ventilator management: set up, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators.
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory care, treatments, and techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to the team.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies, including code situations.
