Job summary

You will operate ventilator support, provide on-site instruction, and ensure infection control and equipment QA. The position requires ARRT/CRT/LRT credentials with a valid license, good driving record, and willingness to be on-call 24 hours on weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; medical degree preferred.
• One year of durable medical equipment, hospital, or related experience.
• Must be registered or certified as a licensed respiratory therapist.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform clinical respiratory services for customers.
• Assess signs and symptoms; monitor patient responses to care.
• Develop and modify treatment plans based on assessments and orders.
• Make recommendations to physicians for care quality.
• Operate and manage ventilator support and emergency procedures.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on equipment use and infection control.
• Market and promote respiratory services to referrals and healthcare community.
• Coordinate maintenance and QA for oxygen concentrators and equipment.
• Complete required documentation and billing information; obtain necessary prescriptions.
