Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Utah’s West Jordan region seeks a Respiratory Therapist to operate mono-place hyperbaric chambers under leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of hyperbaric treatment. You will supervise daily operations and support physicians with treatment plans.

Must have active state licensure as Respiratory Therapist, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as required by locations. This role offers travel within facilities and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) active in applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) current or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification current or obtained within 6 months for specified facilities.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification current or obtained within 6 months for specified facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care procedures to patients in general, acute, critical care, and emergency areas.
• Perform therapeutic modalities including patient monitoring, medication delivery, ventilation management, expansion therapy, and bronchial hygiene.
• Assist in CPR and emergency care with airway management and cardiac support.
• Conduct diagnostic testing such as ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry.
• Develop care plans based on assessments and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
