LCMC Health is seeking a Supervisor of Respiratory to organize and direct the daily activities of the Respiratory Department, overseeing clinical and support staff across East Jefferson General Hospital in Louisiana.

The role requires a licensed and registered Respiratory Therapist with ACLS/PALS and BLS, plus several years of supervisory experience coordinating patient care with physicians and nurses in acute care settings.

• 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required.
• Strong leadership and clinical supervision skills.
• Experience coordinating care with physicians and nurses for respiratory patients.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, direct and supervise daily respiratory department activities and staff.
• Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care with physicians and nurses.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
• Resolve minor issues in therapy administration as they arise.

Your job is more than a job. The Supervisor of Respiratory is responsible for organizing, directing, supervising the daily activities (clinical and support) and personnel of the department to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients requiring respiratory care. Solves minor and immediate problems regarding therapy administration. Work with physicians and nurses to coordinate respiratory patient care. Liaisons with cross functional team members to ensure quality, timely and efficient care is provided to patients of any age.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider - American Heart Association
Licensed Respiratory Therapist - Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME)
Registered Respiratory Therapist -National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association is required for all Adult Acute Care Facilities.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association is required for all Pediatric Facilities Registered Respiratory Therapist -National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
