Job summary

Manresa Healthcare Center in Watsonville, CA is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. The RT will provide respiratory care per physician orders, monitor status, and collaborate with nursing and medical staff.

Qualifications

• RRT/CRT certification accepted.
• BLS required (ACLS preferred, if applicable).
• SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed
