Minimum Requirements

1. Education: HS/GED required. Enrollment in a CoARC or CAAHEP accredited respiratory therapy program. Must obtain a student license from the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy within 30 days of employment. BLS certification is preferred and mandatory after orientation.
2. Experience: Clinical experience during respiratory program preferred. Ability to function in general care areas, excluding critical care and ventilator management.
3. Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform procedures in bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, and basic respiratory diagnostics.
