Respiratory Therapist Student, Evenings
Join the hospital trusted by Chicago’s Southland, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, in this role as a Respiratory Student (RT).
Under the direction of the Director and/or Supervisor, Respiratory Care Services, the second year Respiratory Care student will perform basic respiratory care treatments and procedures on adult patients under the proximal supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT). They will provide for patient assessment and implement appropriate patient care as specified by respiratory care policy and procedures. Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide respiratory care procedures. Pursues professional development opportunities. Knows, follows and actively supports the Mission, Vision and Core Values of Ingalls Memorial Hospital. Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures and standards of care. Observes and adheres to all corporate compliance requirements and communicates issues as they arise to the appropriate parties as identified in the Corporate Compliance Plan.

Must comply with Ingalls Memorial Hospital's COVID-19 Vaccination requirement as a condition of employment.
