Job summary

Taylor Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Student Respiratory Therapist for on-site, PRN opportunities. You will support respiratory care procedures, set up oxygen devices, and assist with documentation while gaining clinical experience in a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Kentucky Respiratory Care Student License, have excellent communication skills, and can pass the NBRC Clinical Simulation exam.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Valid KY Respiratory Care Student License.
• No experience required.
• Must pass NBRC Clinical Simulation exam.

Responsibilities

• Sets up various oxygen devices.
• Administers prescribed meds and treatments.
• Performs chest physical therapy.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Documents procedures and oxygen usage to correctly capture charges.
• Proficient in analyzing and obtaining arterial blood.
• Reports results and makes recommendations for corrections.

Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule: PRN positions available

What You’ll Do

• Sets up various oxygen devices
• Administers prescribed meds and treatments
• Performs chest physical therapy

What We’re Looking For
