Job summary

Riverside Health System in Gloucester, Virginia is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner to plan, execute and evaluate care for assigned patients. You will work under leadership to provide respiratory services aligned with Riverside standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience is preferred.
• NBRC RCP license with Virginia Dept of Health Professions required upon hire.
• CRT and CPR/BLS certifications required upon hire; ACLS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate respiratory care plans.
• Complete documentation; ensure orders are current or discontinued.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to create treatment plans and evaluate progress.
• Utilize proper infection control techniques in performance of duties in line with procedures.
• Work with physicians and nurses to create treatment plans and evaluate progress.
