Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy.
• 2 years of relevant experience pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine or equivalent clinical education.
• LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire.
• CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC Upon Hire.
• NRP/ACLS/BLS certifications required within 90 days or equivalent.
• RT Students, CRTs, and RRTs may apply.

Responsibilities

• Applies respiratory care therapy under medical direction for patients across age groups.
• Performs evaluation and recommendations, documents per policy and regulatory standards.
• Performs advanced respiratory procedures and documents outcomes.
• Completes required education and maintains competency.
• Documents and bills accurately for services.
• Facilitates referrals and educates patients and families about respiratory care.
• Instructs and trains staff and students on respiratory care needs.
