Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) in Bradenton, FL seeks a Respiratory Therapist to perform all aspects of respiratory care for patients of all ages with high skill and accuracy. You will ensure procedures align with MMH policies and maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

The role requires Florida licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, is RRT-eligible, and mandates BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, along with a strong commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must hold State of Florida Respiratory Therapist License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision on patients of all ages with skill and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality and accuracy. Also assures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer Service Excellence skills.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
