Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure must be current and in good standing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Experience providing respiratory care across age groups (infants to geriatrics) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document respiratory therapy services per hospital policies.
• Provide direct respiratory care as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage equipment, documentation, and infection control standards.
• Coordinate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Attend in-services and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and testing of respiratory equipment.
