Are you a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with a passion for caring for seniors? Join our team at The Laurels of Heath! As the Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will assess, treat and care for guests with breathing disorders.

You will be responsible for all respiratory care procedures, maintain records, select, assemble and operate equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiates, monitors and maintains life support systems.
  • Monitors outcomes of various respiratory care procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains respiratory equipment par-level and required maintenance records.
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunction.
  • Conducts quality assurance audits.
  • Provides routine clinical care including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, resident evaluations, care plan development, respiratory medication delivery, supply changes and equipment management.
Requirements:
  • Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • Licensed in the state.
  • Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program.
  • Current CPR certification.
