Job Overview

As a critical care specialist in our specialty hospitals, you will provide essential respiratory care to patients with complex medical needs, supporting their recovery process during extended stays.

Responsibilities

1. Administer safe and effective respiratory treatments as ordered by physicians.
2. Monitor mechanical ventilation and adjust settings as necessary.
3. Administer medications related to respiratory care.
4. Assess patient condition and respond appropriately.
5. Understand and interpret hemodynamic monitoring and blood work results.
6. Educate and train patients and staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Education required for Registry by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current Respiratory Therapist License issued by the state.
• Credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC.
• BLS and ACLS Certification.
• Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting.
